Elena Kendall-Aranda
Visual Artist

Elena is a French, Spanish and American visual artist and photographer. She is currently based between New York and Madrid. Her work focuses on the construction of identity in contemporary western society. She creates hybrid photographs that lay somewhere between documented truth and fiction.

Implementing strategies involving the theatricalization of subjectivity, she intends to establish metaphors that address issues of embodiment, identity and memory.
