Mars Komagatake Nature of Shinso Rindo is the first bottling in Mar's newest Nature of Shinso range, with each entry named after the flora local to the distillery. The distinct aromatic character to this Japanese single malt whisky is thanks to being aged exclusively in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, and Japanese wine casks.
Blended from a careful selection of malts with both different vintages and ages, Mars Whisky Komagatake Nature of Shindo is bottled at cask strength of 52%. The palate brings sweetness forward through notes of spices, peaches, dark sugar, and cake with a hint of peat evident throughout.
