- HIGH-QUALITY MARINE POLYMER — 10oz cartridge of black waterproof caulk made with a one-part silane polymer that forms a solid rubber compound. Our marine caulking for boats offers the highest rated UV resistance, excellent chemical resistance, superior temperature stability, and easy sanding to improve project turnover time.
- FLEXIBLE & PRIMER-FREE — Thixotropic paste that won’t drip or sag and is easy to work with thanks to its long-lasting flexibility. One-step, primer-free application saves time, contains no solvents, is environmentally friendly, and creates a safer work environment with less waste and more economical usage.
- FIRST-CLASS APPEARANCE — Our marine caulking sealant is designed for seams 3–10mm wide to produce a first-class finish. Seam depth should match or exceed width, with caulk filling the full bottom of the seam. Bond-breaker tape is recommended for seams 5mm (3/16”) or deeper, and properly filled full-depth seams help extend teak deck life.
- CURE TIME — This marine grade sealant cures to deliver better adhesion, longevity, and appearance compared to polysulfide, polyurethane, and MS polymers. Black caulk is ready for sanding after at least 48 hours at 68°F (20°C) based on ¼” x ¼” (6.4mm x 6.4mm) seams; larger seams may require additional curing time.
- PROPERTIES — Available in black, white & gray with an 18-month shelf life from the date of manufacture (printed on the bottle). Meets Federal Specifications and ASTM C920, and is manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
